Giffgaff Community Project
NRTH LASS was approached to be on a judging panel for the inaugural Community Project scheme - an initiative where Giffgaff members and the public were asked to nominate unsung heroes making a difference in their communities. The winners represent a cross-section of communities in the UK and tackle issues as diverse as knife-crime, LGBT+ representations in sports, access to drama and theatre in deprived areas and the sustainable fashion movement.
BBC Bitesize Tour
The BBC Bitesize’s School’s Tour invited us to speak to pupils in secondary schools in the north about getting into the creative industries. As panellists we shared our experiences of school, university and working life whilst also offering advice on careers, relationships and how to foster good mental wellbeing.
